Terms and conditions

Price

All prices will be quoted in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of 12.5% Goods and Services tax for sales within New Zealand.

Insurance

Goods are shipped at your own risk. Rick has considerable experience in packing and posting/couriering works to overseas buyers and for exhibitions. There have been rare instances when works are broken or damaged --- but it does happen! We can arrange for each package to be insured to cover the cost of the work it contains. This is an additional cost to the purchase price shown and is on-charged to you without any mark-up. We will advise you the cost and obtain your approval before committing to it.

Postage

Postage is an additional cost to the price shown and is on-charged to you without any mark-up. Works can be held at the studio if you wish to arrange for their collection directly.

Delivery Time

This is variable and depends where the work is being shipped, the delivery company and shipping options you select. We will advise you of the options available, their cost and estimated delivery timeframes so you can decide which option to select.

Late or Lost Packages

When works are sent we will notify you of the date sent and any courier or postage reference numbers associated with the package. We cannot be held responsible for packages that are delivered late or lost. You will need to follow this up with the delivery company concerned. We are more than happy to assist you in this follow up at the "New Zealand end" but ultimately it is between you and the delivery company. We take these instances seriously and would appreciate being told if you have any problems so we take this into consideration when dealing with courier companies.

Payment

Payment must be settled in full before works are posted. At this time we can't offer credit card payments on the internet because we don't have the volumes to support the cost of the service. There are two ways of making payment:

  1. Cheque --- a cheque drawn on any New Zealand bank. Cheques are accepted from some countries and this needs to be confirmed on an individual basis.
  2. International Money Order -- Western Union money orders provide an effective means of international money payments. Visit the Western Union website to create a transaction on-line.
  3. NZ Money Order -- New Zealand Post provides a domestic money order service. Visit any Post Sop to make a transaction and visit their website to find details about the process and costs.
  4. Cash -- cash should never be sent through the postal system but is accepted for works collected directly from the studio.

Returns

Shipped works cannot be returned  unless it is clearly evident that the wrong work has been sent to you. In this circumstance we will pay you to ship the work back to us and send the correct work to you at no additional cost. Sales confirmations will include a copy of the work photo and reference number so we can both be sure the correct work is sent.
